Kirchleitn is a small village of old mountain farmhouses in the heart of the Nockberge UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Cars stay outside. Between the houses there are meadows, a natural swimming pond and the village sauna.
If you wish, the village is exclusively yours for the day. You say “I do” in the meadow, celebrate in the Tenne in the evening and then walk a few steps home under the stars. Your loved ones sleep in the houses all around, and the next morning you all sit together again over breakfast, still sleepy and full of stories from the night before.

Getting marriedin the snow
Kirchleitn is open in winter too. You say I do in the snow, the tiled stove crackles inside, and after the party you walk home a few steps through the winter evening. The Brunnach cable car is within walking distance, and the thermal spa in Bad Kleinkirchheim is open all year.
Living in the village

Your guests do not sleep in hotel rooms but in old farmhouses with their own kitchen, parlour and tiled stove. In the morning it smells of coffee and wood, the children run barefoot across the meadow, and someone is already laying the breakfast table for everyone.

Your guests stay in the village houses, in apartments with their own kitchen. The village sauna with two Finnish saunas and an infrared sauna is included, as is the natural swimming pond. The Brunnach cable car is about 500 metres away on foot.

How many guests fit in the Tenne?
Up to 200 seated. For smaller celebrations there is the Bauernwirt with up to 80 guests. At Beim Oswald, a few minutes away, up to 100 guests celebrate in the Wildfütterung and up to 70 in the Alte Mühle.
Can we book the whole village?
Yes. Kirchleitn can be booked exclusively for your wedding, so you and your guests have it to yourselves.
Can we get married in winter?
Yes. Kirchleitn is also open in winter, and the Brunnach cable car is within walking distance.
Who cooks?
Our kitchen team with its farm-to-table cooking, as in all our houses.
